Judge not lest you be judged, my friend

By Anonymous - This FML is from back in 2009 but it's good stuff - United States

Today, I was riding my bike and stopped at a street light. A little girl looked at me, then asked her mother, "Mommy, why does that girl have a ring through her nose?" Her mother then replied, "Because her parents don't love her." FML

there are so many FML's about bitchy children..

#186 Notice i said some more than others. second ear piercings barely add but third for sure, though not as much as other piercings. take for example, navel, eyebrow, nose, lip and tongue piercings all make you look trashy, then nipple and genital piercings just make you extremely trashy and perhaps even slutty.

wow. thats just teaching her child to be judgmental. what a bitch!

#194, I have my lip pierced and don't dress like a *****, so I don't think it looks trashy. And nipple rings and genital piercings are not seen when someone is wearing clothes, (minus "wardrobe malfunctions") so how would you know and have the right to call that person trashy? Sorry, but you got to come into the 21st century. I also have three earrings in my left ear and one in my right. Once again, not trashy. Self-expression comes in many forms, some prefer tattoos and piercings, others shoes and make up. I don't define trashy by those expressions. When I think of trashy, I think of someone exposing themself in public, that is trashy.

I completely agree with #194 . I'm sorry, but I do not think self expression is at all trashy. Open your eyes please.

#194, i concur #196, i agree self-expression comes in many forms. however, some ways are good, some ways not so good. turning yourself into a pin-cushion is the latter. you've seriously ****** up there. i'd like to see someone with class have a nose ring or lip ring. you won't be taken seriously. or if you want, try a lawyer, judge, doctor. anyone with a good education will not do such things. also, the stereotype associated with piercings and tatoos is that the person is either a drop-out, or is involved in drugs (whether it be weed or worse). the mother just wants what's best for her daughter. you'll never see this in a million years because you're part of it, but honey, you're what parents will refer to as 'the wrong crowd'...unless the parent is one of those 40yr old women who thinks they're still 20 and tries to be 'hip' and failing miserbly, or they were/are in the wrong crowd as well.
