you can't blame them, they didn't know.
Your parents are assholes. Let's hope you can rise above your upbringing. Here's a hint: don't have kids just to prove you can do better than they did--it hardly ever works out.
Same thing happened to me. I lost a lot of weight due to stress but my mother took me to the doctor to get tested for drug use.
that's terrible! that's the stupidest and unhealthiest way to lose wait...if you were overweight, it's healthier that way than to starve yourself!
omg u really are a dumbass. they were unable to eat anything because of stress. it's not like they were trying to lose weight by starving themselves.
What the OP failed to mention was that she originally weighed 345 lbs and is only 5'7" tall. Ginormous.
maybe that was like the instinctual answer...like in all those FML about making comments that could relate to height when talking to little people...
maybe they said it in a sort of kidding way? you know where there is a huge grin when they say it? but don't starve yourself, it's not good, and it will hurt you in the long run, when I skipped a meal months ago, my acid level went up so try to eat the 3 meals a day so your body stays healthy (:
that's a really terrible thing for them to say. i'm sorry . =]
They aren't very supportive...

Maybe they weren't being totally serious? Either way, get on a healthy diet and start exercising. You'll thank yourself later in life when you're lean and healthy.
That's such a parental thing to say. My mom encouraged me to take diet pills when I was 12 and at a HEALTHY weight. I don't know why parents can be so judgmental about weight, my grandma is too. If I had kids, I would think they were beautiful no matter what, regardless of weight. And dear god, if they told me they were under a lot of stress I would help them immediately...I'm sorry your parents suck.
