Today, I found out why my teenage daughter won't brush her teeth properly. Apparently, my son convinced her that toothpaste has tons of calories. FML

But you don't even swallow toothpaste, so why would it be a problem even if it did have calories?

Wow. That's excessive. If you can't change her mind, tell her to use baking soda. Although, you really should talk to her because being that obsessive seems unhealthy.

Yep, just one of the consequences I faced with my older brother. Only, I was 3 at the time and he said it was poison, not calories :p

Oups ! Not sure you have understood how it works ! Toothpaste is not an antiseptic.... Listerine is. Toothpaste doesn't clean the teeth ! The brush does. Toothpaste gives fresh breath, nothing else !

Even if toothpaste had calories, she should still use for healthy teeth, it's not like a few calories will hurt her

It's fine you don't need toothpaste to brush your teeth anyways. Ask any dentist toothpaste it just for good smelling breath really
