Today, since I'm still recovering from my surgery and can't drive, my daughter drove me to the doctor. When I was done and walked outside, she was nowhere to be seen. Then I got a text, saying, "Sorry, I forgot I have to be somewhere." The closest bus stop to our house is miles away. FML

Today, I drove for three hours to surprise a girl after surgery. My truck broke down outside her place, and it turns out she's over an hour away at her family's place. FML

Today, my girlfriend woke up very early in terrible pain. I drove her to the hospital and fell asleep in the waiting area. When I woke up, my car was gone and it was 9am. She had assumed I just walked home (32 miles), so she took the car. I was the only one in the waiting area. FML

Today, my daughter's school called to inform me that I needed to bring her some sneakers. Not feeling like driving the 15 minutes to her school, I told them I was away from town. Then I realized I was on my house phone. FML

Today, I was released from hospital after being in a car accident. I used the phone book to call people I know to get a ride home, as my wallet and cellphone were still in the wrecked car. I had called my mom to come get me, but her response was "I don't feel like it." I live with her. FML

Today, I dropped my daughter off at a concert where she was performing and went to look for parking. I got caught in freak traffic and it took me an hour to get back there. I missed her act. FML

Today, I’m having knee surgery. I can’t drive for the next week because of the heavy duty pain killers, so my mom told me I'll have to walk to and from school. It’s only a couple of miles. FML

Today, I totaled my car whilst rushing to pick up my son from daycare. This happened as I was leaving the hospital, after dropping off a wheelchair to my recently disabled wife, who is taking care of our newborn in the special care unit. FML

Today, I had 3 teeth pulled. Due to the anaesthesia, my mom came along to drive me home. Halfway through my surgery, she decided to leave and go shopping with her friend. She even left a note with the receptionist, saying that I needed to take on my own adult responsibilities. FML

Today, my mom got angry that I wasn't responding to her texts. I couldn't because I was in the dentist's chair. She'd dropped me off, and after returning from errands, sent the text from the waiting room. FML

I'd like to know whose car it was. If your daughter is a teenager and did that ydi for raising someone so selfish...if she's an adult you still deserve it... She has pulled stuff like this before and you probably did nothing to disciple her. Stop complaining and trying to be her friend. You are her parent and are to teach her how to treat others properly... You have failed thus far. If she's still a teen you have some time to fix her... Starting by making her regret the thought of leaving you stranded.

FI would have waited till she went to bed cut her hair quietly then at 5 am wake her up by graving her ears and banging it on the bed railing then bitch slapping her over and over aging they throw her to the floor kick her constantly make her feel like your going to take the life out of her throw the phone battery out the window then get your prepared belt and smash it in her face while pulling her hair and take her keys but do it when you get better I'm its just she should respect you and she will after this and um sorry or just think about don't really do it it was just a thought :)

Well...that's what is wrong with the kids coming in to adulthood nowadays! Not quite sure how old she is, but my guess is young. I want to say I'm sorry that happened to you bc surgery is serious, but maybe you should say FYL because of the values you did/did not instill in her... My mother would have tracked me down and stuck her foot in my rear now matter how old i was because thats just a lack of human compassion all around!Just sayin...maybe you should take example from what my mom would have done!
