Today, for my birthday, instead of a cake, my friends surprised me with a castle mainly made out of bacon. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I fucking hate bacon. FML

Dear OP, ...lo and behold, witness the power of democracy: because the masses like bacon, your post is now rated more YDI than FYL... mind that you had little to no control over your surprise bacon-castle, your friends didn't know *you* didn't like bacon, annnnd it was a gift given with the best of intentions. Everything short of you being clear with your friends that you didn't like bacon (at some point in the past, and taken into context could be argued either way for any number of reasons) about this is a FYL. Poetic FYL, even.
