You could be noble and take her to AA meetings and support her through the 12 steps. Or, you could be smart and dump that sloppy drunk.

I'm pretty sure that's a nice way of saying she's become an alcoholic. Try to let her know that you've seen a change in her and its concerning to you. DON'T accuse her of having a problem or saying its a problem. People tend to be defensive easily when it comes to sensitive issues like this one.

you should sit her down and have a talk with her about her drinking. Drinking is very serious and if it gets worse she's going to need to get help. She is going to need support through that time so you should help her.
