Today, I texted my friend and asked her what her sad status on Facebook was about. She texted me back, saying her step-mother had passed away. I tried to reply with "awwh" but my phone autocorrected it to "ahaha." FML

Autocorrect at its worst. Explain yourself quickly before you're the biggest jerk ever!

To be honest if you were a good friend (close enough to ask her what was wrong), you probably should've called her. Or at least text back something a little more sympathetic rather than just 'awwh'.

You can turn off auto correct. Jut go to settings. Even though my word says jut instead of just, it's worth it for times when it changes it to the wrong word and people have either no idea what you are talking about or you sound inconsiderate or retarded.

You should have said "i'm sorry to hear that." instead of "awwh" geez.

The "awwwh" was most likely accompanied by "I'm sorry to hear that" OP might have not included it because it wouldn't have been much of an FML if we knew that their friend knew she wasn't laughing at her step-mothers death

I know how you feel I have been through that state!-.-

Being someone who's never used autocorrect yet hears this shit all the time, can you not just turn it off?

Oh **** autocorrect!!! What did she reply back to you? Thats horrible but its not like she can stay mad at u- its not ur fault:)

Maybe you should have spelt "awwh"the correct way so autocorrect wouldn't have to correct you... Why would you think awe is spelt awwh? YDI!

the "awwww" sound is spelt either how I just typed, or ending with an h. "awe" is amazement, as in "I stare in AWE at your stupidity."

I'm not stupid. I have autocorrect and neither "aw" nor "aww" have been corrected. "Awwh" is not acceptable. "Awe" is an entirely different word.

Awe: Amazement Aw: A sound made, most often in response to cuteness, but I guess in response to sadness as well. Awwh: Nothing; it's not a word. Well, unless you consider Urban Dictionary to be a reliable source...

Aww and awe are entirely different words. Fail.

There's a reason why I will never buy any product from Apple for myself. It's overpriced crap, ur getting pickpocketed the minute u buy from them.

it's called proper spelling, use it and you wouldn't have had auto corrrect screw you over.
