Here's the real trick: just wear khakis and any solid color shirt. People are stupid enough that they won't even notice you're not wearing red, or whatever the color shirt the store uses is. Last time I went out in khakis, I had people ask me where stuff was at three different stores. I'm never wearing khakis out again.
