Lovesick

Today, I was working at my job as cashier. This really attractive girl who often comes in walked in, so I mustered up the courage to ask her out by writing my number on a dollar bill. She paid and the amount her change happened to be a dollar. I go to hand her the money when she sees it and says, "Keep the change!" FML

If someone came up to you and just wordlessly handed you their phonenumber, would you really be inclined to call them? I don't see how this is considered a reasonable strategy for asking someone out. Surely asking for their phone number is a better way to show interest, because honestly just expecting some stranger to call you because you gave them your number is a bit arrogant.

That's a really great way to make some extra cash. Keep it up.

Giving her a dollar bill with your number on it may translate to what you're worth.

Next time write it on a 20. It's win-win... either she takes your number or you get 20 dollars.

YDI for not knowing how to write correct sentences. go back to school. even if it's "just the internet", learn to express yourself properly or you'll sound like a fool.

so? u just gotta realize the insignificance of that. shes gone, you move on, its over

I'm pretty sure that if I saw a number on a dollar bill I wouldnt even think it was the cashiers...

and you defaced currency. i'm telling the mods to report your IP to the feds.

If you had some guts your life wouldn't be f***ked. Girls with class prefer men who actually ask them out instead of thinking they're so clever by giving out a phone number that wasn't asked for and not even checking if they're single.

You wanna no a good saying to pick up a girl " Hey i may not be Fred Flinstone but i can sure make ur bed rock!!!"
