c'mon, he was nice! he just misunderstood the whole thing, if your life was really ****** he would've said something like "i noticed" if you just gave birth, then you must be a little overweight. you must be sensitive because of the hormones and everything, its normal :)
what a dick
lol, really who says that though? Most people mean their weight when they say something like that. Women = very confusing!!!
um, the OP never said anything about not thinking she was fat or not. I'm pretty sure she (and everyone else) already knows that women gain weight when they have a baby, you don't need to tell her she probably is a little overweight. Also, she wasn't fishing for compliments, #55, she was commenting on the breastfeeding. And yes, in most cases, someone saying "I'm a cow" would probably mean they're talking about their weight but the OP was breastfeeding at the time! Not too hard to think that maybe she wasn't talking about her weight at that time.
What, you really think you still haven't lost all your baby weight?

Ah, I could understand his mistake, double meaning! You said it!!!
I don't see how this is an FML. You have baby weight. Your husband isn't making a huge deal of it. BTW, "cow" is usually synonymous with being overweight. All mammals breastfeed.
