Today, in a public restroom, an elderly lady started bitching me out for not washing my hands. I was so intimidated that I did so under her accusing watch. I'm quite intolerant to many soaps, and I now have a horrible rash on my left hand because I was too frightened to explain. FML

Today, my coworker cornered me in the office bathroom and insisted that, because she's been watching me, I use the bathroom too quickly and must not be washing my hands, and that I have to wash them from now on. FML

Today, I said hi to my coworker and she immediately yelled, "Get your gross unwashed hands out of my face!" I wash my hands compulsively and they were nowhere near her face. FML

Today, I ran out of toilet paper in the bathroom. I was forced to use tissues to do the job. As if that wasn't bad enough, the sanitizer in the tissues gave me a rash that made me have to stand up frequently in the lecture hall. Several people asked if I had Tourette's. FML

Today, I was in a shopping center when I went to the toilet. I came out, washed my hands and suddenly got a massive itch in my crotch. Without thinking I itched it. I then had to walk around the center with a wet hand print on my crotch. FML

Today, while in the restroom washing my hands, a girl decided to let one rip while in the stall. When she came out she gave me a dirty look of disgust and said, "At least wait until I leave." She and I were the only ones in the restroom. FML

Today, as I was about to go in the bathroom, a girl walked out, shaking water off her hands. Some of it landed on my face, and I just wiped it off. Then she said to her friend who was waiting for her, "The sink's broken. Can I use your hand sanitizer?" So what landed on my face? FML

Today, I really had to go to the bathroom. Due to my fear of public restrooms, I made sure it was clear before I started. I heard someone sigh halfway through. Embarrassed, I waited a full ten minutes before leaving the stall, only to see that it was only the automatic air freshener. FML

Today, I was taking a shower, facing away from the faucet, when I dropped the soap. When I bent over to pick up the soap, my sister flushed a toilet in the next room, causing hot water to scorch my anus. I got made my shower's bitch, FML

Today, my wife bitched at me for not washing my hands before handling the dishes. The dirty dishes. That were sitting in a sink of hot soapy water. According to her, the dirt from my hands was gonna make the dirty dishes even dirtier. Huh? FML

Why don't you carry your own soap with you? If you know you are allergic and also know how unhygienic it is to not wash, YDI for putting yourself in that position!

I hate people who police the bathroom! I have walked in a bathroom to check in the mirror and been yelled at by a stranger for not washing my hands. It's rude to be watching what everyone else is doing. Anyway next time just politely tell them you are very allergic to the soap there.

"Wash your hands" everyone says, realizing that most people, both male and female, don't wash their hands after being done in the bathroom. The world is a dirty place, get over it people. You're not going to die, so stop bein germophobic. Before you accuse me, yes I do wash my hands over using the bathroom. Doesn't mean I'm going to bitch about some else not doing it, unless they: 1. Masturbated 2. Took a shit.

Did you not read my ******* comment? I said I wash my hands, I wash my hands after touching a wrapper on the floor. I just said that people panic way to much about germs. Yes, germs spread? What's your point? Some are good, some are bad. We cant stop that fact and we never will. Besides, washing your hands too much or using hand sanitizer too often, does a hell of a lot worse then good.

I'm allergic to antibiotic hand soap which is all of them like hand sanitizer and most hand soaps found that out when I was in kindergarten lol

Why didnt you wash your hands without using soap? In every bathroom i have been in the soap and water are dispensed separately. That being said. using soap every time you wash your hands is overrated. by over sanitizing we create stronger germs.

Actually washing your hands with water alone doesn't help all that much. Was on Mythbusters episode two weeks ago ( they were testing bathroom stalls and towels vs air dry. Air dry sucks. Towel much faster and much less bacterial spread. )

If I remember my biology well enough, antibacterial will cause resistance but soap causes much less. How soap acts is it decomposes the outer layer of the bacteria. Plus, since it isn't staying on your hand but being washed off with the water you use, the bacteria that do survive have less of a chance to infect. The water washes the bacteria off because soap is hydrophilic and hydrophobic, so it gets the bacteria moving with the water, while the antibacterial isn't meant to be washed and leaves everything on the body. Again, this is what I remember from bio taken 4 years ago.
