Today, in a public restroom, an elderly lady started bitching me out for not washing my hands. I was so intimidated that I did so under her accusing watch. I'm quite intolerant to many soaps, and I now have a horrible rash on my left hand because I was too frightened to explain. FML

Why don't you carry your own soap with you? If you know you are allergic and also know how unhygienic it is to not wash, YDI for putting yourself in that position!

Not washing your hands after using the restroom is nasty and helps spread disease. Skin reactions to different soaps are common so it's understandable you didn't want to use the soap there. However I still have to say YDI because you know you have this issue, why not keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer on your or other type of soap you can use.

Maybe she did have hand sanitizer on her but before she got the chance to use it some bitchy old women started berating her, and of course it's easy for us to say "YDI for not walking away" blah blah blah ect. But we don't know what kind or social problems or fear op has so we can't really judge her, and it was a old women maybe op was too scared to tell her other wise because she didn't want to seem disrespectful to the elderly.

Who says we can't judge ? That is what this app is for!!!! We pick YDI or sucks to be you. In this case OP IMO YDI. Not washing your hand can make me sick. I don't want to get sick cause someone is to ________ to bring soap with them. We wash hands to keep ourself and other from getting sick. Wash your hands!

Some people clearly don't understand the point of FML. No one should suffer because she's too lazy to carry her own soap. If she had it chances are she would have used it in the sink area.

You could've just washed your hands with water? I get the same problem and I just thoroughly wash them with warm water. Always wash your hands after using the bathroom!

Now if she sees the rash she'll just think it's because your dirty. looks loke you won't be getting much sympathy from the old lady or these commenters anytime soon
