Today, my neighbor confessed to me that he was homophobic and regrets that his family doesn't know it. He spent fifteen minutes explaining how much he would hate to have a gay child. I spent two hours last night convincing his son that it was the right thing to tell his family he was gay. FML

Today, I found out that my son has been telling me he's gay so we would allow the "female friend" who is actually his girlfriend to stay over. FML

Casual homophobia

Today, I came out to my parents and siblings as gay. They were very accepting and asked me why I waited until I was 25 to do so. I didn't have the heart to tell them it was their own homophobic remarks that kept me closeted since I realized it at 14, and that a previous coming-out to a parent was dismissed as 'a phase'. FML

Today, my boyfriend told me that he is homophobic. This wouldn't be such a big deal, if my mother wasn't a lesbian. He doesn't know this yet, and I'm afraid to tell him. FML

Today, I told my friends I had been hiding something that I wanted to come clean on. My one friend responds by saying, "FINALLY you come out of the closet. It's about time." I'm not gay. I was just going to tell them my parents were getting a divorce. FML

Today, I introduced my girlfriend to my parents. My mother turned to me and said, "Wait you're actually gay? I thought you were just saying that to piss off your father." I came out to her when I was 16, and have confided in her about my past relationships. FML

Ooh...it's like a soap opera! I wanna watch! Did the son tell? Was the dad pissed off? Where's the mom? And what's with the son's new boyfriend? Haha, I added that last part in. :D That really does suck though. FYL, dude. I feel bad for you, 'cause you were just being a good person, and the son, because he can't help it that he's gay. I helped my friend come out of the half-built closet (he's bi) to the rest of our friends this year. It was a major accomplishment for him. I say the kid should still tell his parents!

wow i really hope your being sarcastic cuz ya its not just homosexuals that can get aids its actually anyone how has had unprotected sex is able to contracting the virus duh get your facts straight. and i kinda dont like how you say "the gays" do you see other people referring to the straight community as "the straights" no i didn't think so.
