Money ain't a problem when you've got it

Today, I listened as my ridiculously wealthy friend excitedly rambled on and on about her latest shopping trip. This is the same friend who owes me £150, and accused me of being insensitive for asking her to repay it at some point. FML

If she's so rich, why is she borrowing from you?

Jeesh what a bunch of haters you people are towards rich people! Did it ever strike you she may have actually earned her money fair and square or for that matter, her parents did. If she's a rich kid just try and place yourself in a similar situation, if your parents have the money and they want to share that with you, are you really going to say no? Thats like buying a winning lottery ticket and when they cash out you say 'no thanks i didnt _earn_ it'. If I were you (the fml person) I'd tell your friend that although she may not like you asking, money doesn't come as easily to you as to her. For you that much money is a big deal and you hope she understands that wanting it back has nothing to do with being insensitive but rather a dire need. And if she doesnt understand that just beat her up ;)!

Why do you refer to her as "friend" still? Clearly it's not similarly mutual. Friendship is a two-way street based on mutual respect. Looks lije you're living on a one-way dead-end street...

bitch slap her and then take all her money. that'll show her to borrow money and not repay it.

If she's ridiculously wealthy...then why Sid she need to borrow money from you??
