Money! Get away

By Disgruntled - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - United States - Jamestown

Today, it's been exactly two years since I got my last raise, and the amount I'd got still allows me the luxury of being able to afford a Snickers bar every month. FML

If you don't want the bar.....I'll have it.

Your not yourself when you're hungry. So I guess you're never yourself.

Wow! Poor you. I only get a candy bar when we get our income tax return. I feel like Charlie from Willie Wonka sometimes.

You chose to work that job, you know what it pays, therefore your fault. You want better money? Get off your butt and get a better job. YDI

You better ration that shit then

I pictured OP naked on a treadmill running, and a stick with a string hanging a snickers bar near his face, but just far enough so he can't reach it. But once a month he can. numnum

You have a few choices OP. #1. Get more money by either getting a raise or a second job. You can even. It grass for a little extra income. Then with the extra money you can buy something to make more money with. Perhaps pottery or baking cookies to sell at truck stops. #2. Lower your expenses. Buy a cheaper vehicle and sell the higher payment vehicle. Get a cheaper place to live. Get a roommate to help cover the expenses. Move back in with mom and dad. Stop eating snickers bars. These are only a few ideas. But it's obvious something has to change and no one is going to do it for you. You have put yourself in the situation you are in and only you can get yourself out. Just be glad you have a job.

LOL the "stop eating snickers bars". OP would make a whole $1.37 more a month! but definitely some good ideas in this if OP really gets determined. or for anyone else who makes enough for the luxury of a snickers bar every month.
