Money! Get away

By Disgruntled - This FML is from back in 2012 but it's good stuff - United States - Jamestown

Today, it's been exactly two years since I got my last raise, and the amount I'd got still allows me the luxury of being able to afford a Snickers bar every month. FML

If you don't want the bar.....I'll have it.

Why do you people worship Norefml and other people who comment on here alot. I write the funniest comments, but then my FML accounts would keep getting banned. So I have changed my ways, I will only write respectful comments on here. I challenge you to open your eyes to my extracondenious humor.

Yep start applying for another job! Or at least a part time job for the extra green then u can buy two bars of chocolate instead of one.

71 - I thumbed you down for complimenting yourself.

75- I also thumbed him down for the same reason

Bragger! This is not an FML, just because you CAN afford it, doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it. Hope you choke on next months ration.

Welcome to the real world sweetheart.

Ydi for sticking with a shitty job for so long. Quit complaining and find better employment elsewhere.

Yeah, because that is so easy to do.

I imagine you would rather be unemployed and living under a bridge.

Be professional. Write up a letter stating what good you have done for the company over the past two years since your pay increase, and what goals you have for the future. Let them know you waited until the upswing of the economy before asking for an increase, and since it's on the uprise (hopefully) you'd very much like to set a meeting to discuss your future with the company.
