Today, my college economics class had a big test. We all needed a Scantron sheet, but some people forgot some. I had an extra one and this really hot girl offered to buy it for $1.00. I said I'd give it to her for her number. She looked around and asked, "Does anyone else have an extra?" FML

Today, I was working at my job as cashier. This really attractive girl who often comes in walked in, so I mustered up the courage to ask her out by writing my number on a dollar bill. She paid and the amount her change happened to be a dollar. I go to hand her the money when she sees it and says, "Keep the change!" FML

Spring cleaning

Today, I asked my mom if she'd seen my financial calculator on my way out to an exam. She told me she'd tossed it in the donation pile that she'd taken to the Salvation Army this morning because it was "clutter." I needed it to take an exam required to pass the class, to graduate next month. The only place to buy a replacement was closed. FML

Today, I was tending the cash register. I scanned a lady's items which totaled $89.68. She paid with a $100 bill. I gave her $11.32 change. She angrily gave back the extra dollar and complained about "schools nowadays". I'm an AP Calculus student. FML

Today, while in class, a cute boy came up and asked me for my number. I giggled and wrote my phone number on a piece of paper and told him to call me sometime. He gave me a weird look and walked away. He was asking which number math problem I needed help with. FML

Today, after searching frantically for my economics notes for a week, I asked my friend to send me pictures of hers. I recognised my handwriting on the pictures she sent me and she admitted she'd "borrowed" them. The exam is in three days and she refuses to meet me and give my notes back. FML

Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

Today, while working as a cashier, I was flirting with this cute girl. When I asked her if she had her store card she said, "No", paused, then said "Can I give you my number?" I said, "Sure, that would be awesome, do you want mine?" She said no. I didn't know I could just enter the card number. FML

Today, as I worked the drive-through at Wendy's, the hottest girl from my math class pulled up to the window. As I handed her the drink, I asked her what she thought of our math test today. She screamed, "How did you know I had a math test, you creep!", threw the drink at me, and drove off. FML

Today, my math TA showed the class how one of her "dumb" students answered a test question. Everyone laughed as she wrote out the students answer, including myself, until I looked down at my answer sheet and saw that I submitted an identical answer. FML

Today, I was taking the final exam for one of my classes. The teacher came over to my desk, grabbed my test and ripped it in half. Then he grabbed my hand and read the note I had written on it to remind myself to pay rent. FML

Sometimes I have to bring my own scantrons and I do not go to a cheap school. I go to UT (Hook 'em Horns) and sometimes we have to bring our own scantrons and test books and sometimes we don't. It depends. So all of you saying "lol cheap school!!" probably aren't even in college yet. Anyway, to the OP you came off as a creeper. Just give it to her for free if you wanted to be slick.

My sister had to buy her own scantron sheets when she was at a community college. So I guess that answers that question. That said, here's an obligatory counter stance: Not all community colleges suck, you guys. I know many outstanding professionals who did core classes at community colleges before transferring to reputable universities because it was cheaper that way and they came from poor families. So, comments like "ghetto-ass college" and such are offensive. There are such colleges, but they're not ALL like that. Don't assume. And I still don't get why the discussion even turned this way - what the **** does it matter what kind of college this dude goes to? Anyway, OP, YDI. It wasn't the time nor place.

#24- Every college uses multiple choice.... I go to a pretty good school and our chemistry and biology departments use scantrons.... but I'm assuming as someone who isn't in college you wouldn't know that...... so what? You aren't even in community college.... so..... enjoy your G.E.D? And yeah you deserved it buddy... blackmail/coercing is not a good way to score dates....

#43, i agree. i don't know why everyone's freaking out about the scantron thing; obviously if you don't know where to get a scantron then you probably aren't even in college, so don't worry about it. and [most] college profs don't provide for you because they're not your mom; you're a big kid in college, go get it yourself. it has nothing to do with cheap schools. it has to do with being prepared. - and after that tangent.. OP, that is a seriously creepy move and i'm sorry, but i don't blame her.

Wait, do you have to buy your own scantrons at your college or something? That's messed up! My college just stopped using them and the blue books because they're "too expensive". Your life is ******, just because you attend such a cheap college that they make you buy your own scantrons (and probably has all the spare money going to the sports teams).
