Today, my college economics class had a big test. We all needed a Scantron sheet, but some people forgot some. I had an extra one and this really hot girl offered to buy it for $1.00. I said I'd give it to her for her number. She looked around and asked, "Does anyone else have an extra?" FML

Today, I was working at my job as cashier. This really attractive girl who often comes in walked in, so I mustered up the courage to ask her out by writing my number on a dollar bill. She paid and the amount her change happened to be a dollar. I go to hand her the money when she sees it and says, "Keep the change!" FML

Spring cleaning

Today, I asked my mom if she'd seen my financial calculator on my way out to an exam. She told me she'd tossed it in the donation pile that she'd taken to the Salvation Army this morning because it was "clutter." I needed it to take an exam required to pass the class, to graduate next month. The only place to buy a replacement was closed. FML

Today, I was tending the cash register. I scanned a lady's items which totaled $89.68. She paid with a $100 bill. I gave her $11.32 change. She angrily gave back the extra dollar and complained about "schools nowadays". I'm an AP Calculus student. FML

Today, while in class, a cute boy came up and asked me for my number. I giggled and wrote my phone number on a piece of paper and told him to call me sometime. He gave me a weird look and walked away. He was asking which number math problem I needed help with. FML

Today, after searching frantically for my economics notes for a week, I asked my friend to send me pictures of hers. I recognised my handwriting on the pictures she sent me and she admitted she'd "borrowed" them. The exam is in three days and she refuses to meet me and give my notes back. FML

Today, I was a TA for a history class and the class was taking a test. About halfway through, I noticed one kid had a small piece of paper in his hand. I ran up the row, grabbed his test, and ripped it into four pieces. Then I took the note from him. It said "I believe in you, -Mom." FML

Today, while working as a cashier, I was flirting with this cute girl. When I asked her if she had her store card she said, "No", paused, then said "Can I give you my number?" I said, "Sure, that would be awesome, do you want mine?" She said no. I didn't know I could just enter the card number. FML

Today, my math TA showed the class how one of her "dumb" students answered a test question. Everyone laughed as she wrote out the students answer, including myself, until I looked down at my answer sheet and saw that I submitted an identical answer. FML

Today, I was taking the final exam for one of my classes. The teacher came over to my desk, grabbed my test and ripped it in half. Then he grabbed my hand and read the note I had written on it to remind myself to pay rent. FML

#57 - Wait a minute! Hold the **** up! Let me get this straight!!! So your school requires you to buy your own books and supplies? Hahaha! (Sarcasm if you haven't figured that out yet.) I'm not sure how its hard to believe that colleges and universities require students to bring their own scantrons and other supplies. I mean, do these colleges also provide pens, pencils, and papers for students to take notes with too? Can they also wipe my ass? If yes, then I'm at the wrong college.

#55, I don't think its is fake. You just are too stupid to realize that things aren't always the same as what happens where you are. I go to San Diego State and we have to buy our own scantrons for tests. There is a section in the school's bookstore to buy them. Everyone has the same scantron because the teacher tells them which one to buy. Is it really that hard to understand?

scantron blackmail = flirt fail I had one instructor in college (she wasn't a full professor or anything - it was for one of the bullshit filler core classes) that used to make us bring our own scantrons. Not having a TA of her own, she just didn't want to have to carry those to class in addition to the tests themselves, I think. Since there's this thing called a syllabus where you know how many tests you'll have and when they'll be, it's not that complicated to get a few scantrons at the beginning of the semester and keep them with your things for that class - so this idiot wouldn't have been worth your time anyway, OP. Hot girls that don't take care of themselves? We've all met them. No loss. Almost all of my psych degree was multiple-choice with only a couple of classes requiring essays as a substantial portion of the grade. My philosophy degree, on the other hand, was all extended essay.

#84 Yea I'm the stupid one. You go to SAN DIEGO STATE. Sorry I've never had to buy a scantron before... sounds ridiculous to me, and it sucks that you guys have to buy them. Guess you learn something new every day :) But hey, at least I can sleep easy tonight knowing that I don't go to San Diego State!
