you know sometimes this may not be a bad idea. I had an american girl i was friendly over msn with, but only met once, tell me that she had been madly in love with me for 3 years after seeing me play a concert but was too shy to talk to me when we briefly met that night. two years later she told me this, and she was in an unhappy relationship with a guy i went to school with. I was in scotland and she was in abu dhabi at this point and i said nothing would happen and wed be friends, so i took her backstage at the dubai desert rock festival (she made me a myspace and i get free tickets cus i MC for the company) About 6 months later my band got signed and we headed off on tour. Our friendship had grown and i suddenly realised i was for some reason pulling favours to get her on tour as the bands photographer... i did and weve been living together for 2 years now, ever since the day we properly met... depends on the situation but things can work out...

i had a huge crush on a friend of mine who later dated my best friend and i would NEVER even THINK of telling him my feelings cause i wouldn't want to be the reason they would've potentially broken up i would have felt even worse then the rejection i would have faced. i would never to anything to mess with anyones relationship and i have also told my other crush (this happened a few years before my best friends bf crush) and got shot down at a dance and i got incrediablly akward for a few months but we became friends again if anyone else would do that to my bf now i would have prob. hunted the girl down and punched her in her boobs and would assume that she was just wanting to get into his pants cause hes so adorkable its cute. so next time if u do want to tell someone that u like how u feel make sure they 1. don't have a gf cause u could tell yourself u werent expecting anything but u would still, unconsiously want them to break it off with their gfs and 2. be prepared to pretend its a joke if they reject u
