what did you expect him to say? sure he was a little rude about it but what you did was kind of rude to him and it put him in one of the most awkward positions ever. if you like someone and tell them you like them well knowing the answer, and not expecting anything (as you said) then why is it such a big deal that he didnt say he liked you?

He certainly could have phrased it nicer. I know that you put the "disclaimer" (I expect nothing, etc.) infront of your confession to him so that you weren't backing him in a corner, but that's exactly what it translates to- a disclaimer. You basically gave him permission to be an insensitive jerk and tell you he had to go to the bathroom. FYL, now get over him and find someone who is nice and actually available.

To all the people who said he could have "put it nicer" don't know what they're talking about. How could he have put it any nicer? I'm so sorry I did the same thing (a lot of people seem to) but his comment was that it was just a crush and I shouldn't look to into it because there was a very small chance of anything happening between us ever.
