Today, I had a date with the girl I've been interested in for months. I'm pretty laid-back and casual with my friends, which backfired and caused the date to end with a slap, when I greeted her with a friendly "S'up, slut?" FML

Today, I went on a date with a guy that I really like. At the last minute he informed me a friend would be tagging along. To keep his friend from being a third-wheel, I kept up a conversation, and managed to piss my date off. He thought I would be a better match for his friend. FML

I seem to be the only person, but if I was the girl I would still give him a chance, I mean if he's just joking around I wouldn't think it was a big deal, many people talk to they're friends like that, not that I really approve, but I still don't think I would have been angry. Although he is in the wrong, especially because it was a first date. Edit: just noticed some other people already said this...

I don't see how you thought this was a good idea. And you shouldn't have been surprised that she slapped you. It might be okay to talk to your friends this way but not very acceptable to say to a girl that you recently starting seeing. If you are lucky she will give you a second chance.
