Chin up OP, try focusing on school to keep your mind off of him
what an asshole. next time you will ace that test OP!
You'll pass next time OP...keep trying and press on you'll find a new boyfriend soon...
what a jerk! shameless bastard. I feel sorry for you OP.
It's not his fault that you failed the test, it's yours. I don't care if I get thumbed down, because you deserve it. It's not him, it's you.
...You DO realize she didn't fail because she didn't study? She failed because she broke down during the exam (i.e. was too upset to focus) because he broke up with her the previous night. Maybe breakups don't disturb YOU emotionally, but they do upset other people. Would you do well on an exam if YOU were really upset? Probably not. Don't believe me? How well would you do on an exam if, for example, your parent/sibling/best friend/family pet/someone else you cared about died the night before you had an exam? Wouldn't you be too upset to concentrate?
That's quite an extreme example. We're talking about a breakup here, not death. If it really meant so much to her she should've been able to compose herself for her future.
I think it's important to remember that not everyone reacts the same way to break-ups or grief. What may hurt one person to distraction, may not have the same effect on another person. It all depends.
Let me guess, you're his twat of an ex and trying to push the blame on her? Depression can **** up your mind alright, you're pretty ******* wrong bro, stfu.
If the online test was anything as difficult as the ones we have to do for graduate schemes in the UK I completely sympathise. They're difficult enough to do at the best of times, let alone when you're mentally fragile after a break up. Best revenge you can get is to secure a better job!
Don't worry :( keep your he'd up and smile xx
Aw, sorry to hear that OP. :( Don't worry, you'll feel good again soon. Just give it time. For now, find good ways to occupy your days and your mind. Do things that bring you joy. :) As for the test, I hope you can retake it! Good luck OP. Don't let this setback bring you down too hard. As for me, I'm going to go throw a brick at your ex's face...brb..
That really sucks :( I never such a shitty situation happen right before a test, but I was depressed for a while so test taking sucked. Once I started having a bit of an anxiety attack during a test. It had nothing to do with the test or school or anything ( I'm usually a good test taker) but it happened during a test so I asked to go to the bathroom. At that point I wasn't cutting as much as before, plus I didn't think it would have helped at the moment, so I tried something new: I tried to make myself puke, just to shock me out of the anxiety. I know it was stupid but I was in a rush to get back to taking the test. Things get better though! Even if it doesn't work out, you'll feel better eventually. Things haven't worked out for me yet but things did get better. As you get older and experience that kind of terrible stuff, you'll learn more about yourself and how to get better. I hope you feel better soon!

*Hugs* Chin up, Op. It's all upward from here. :(
I'm sorry :( Your ex is a jerk. He should've waited until after the exam! Can you retake it?
