It's the small things that counts OP.
How romantic.
Women need to learn not to put their men under pressure by asking them to say nice things. Because then they try to come up with something really fast, get their minds tangled up and turn into Ralph from the Simpsons.
Others grunt as it plops, but you...you stay silent. That's something!
True but really OP could have been having a bad day and she wanted to hear something from her husband that would cheer her up. That's not so bad. Spouses should be happy to give compliments...unless they are really needy and annoying about it.. @20
The thing about compliments, they're not supposed to be forced. I mean if I walk up to someone and say "tell me something nice about me" how genuine would their response be?
61- I agree, but if the compliment is being given to your spouse, it shouldn't be hard to think of something genuine. If my boyfriend asked me to say something nice about him, I might be a bit taken aback but I wouldn't have a difficult time thinking of a truthful compliment.
Humor is the best thing to have in a relationship
so, has he been like, using a glass to the door everytime you go in there?
Well, that is a desirable trait.
I follow FML on twitter, so I first viewed that his one on the website. I don't have ad blocker, and guess what ad there was. One for painless vasectomy...
I think you're in the wrong FML thread?
You married him...
