Oh, the irony.... o.o
You knew you had an exam. YDI
Ironic
It couldve been an ib-exam. Then youd be really screwed. And hell yeah #34. Exams are more important than clumsy strangers?
Sorry but I'll have to agree with #3. The question is what kind of schools do YOU GUYS go to? I did 1 year of public middle school, two years of pulic High School, and all the rest was private school, and I never saw a teacher who did not believe a medical documentation, EXCEPT when a student had a history of missing frequently and bringing documentation every time (in such a case, the school suspected the kid had found a very nice doctor). But if you did not give anyone a reason to suspect your documentation was fake, you were safe. In my University they accept medical papers without saying a word, and they even emphasize that we need to get such papers if we miss exams. I hardly believe in any school they can choose to not believe you even if you have medical documentation and get away with it. Either you miss way too much to make it seem true, or you simply don't stand up for yourself.
8: so ur saying the OP should have gone to class and ignore the person in the car crash, no matter how injured they may be and not knowing how long it would be until somebody came to help? Ya-that's a great idea! OP: that sux-u should get some1 to confirm ur story and let ur teacher take ur test-u did the right thing.
Everyone give #3 a break, he/she probably still goes to middle school. OP: Sorry. It was good of you to do the right thing, but judging on what you were heading to you should have thought "Hmmm...would my prof really believe that this is happening? Will I be here longer than I want to be? Would it be a good idea to risk running late to this exam since my prof likely won't buy my story, even though I'm just being the good samaritan here?" For that I hit FYL (unfortunate story, really), and YDI (for not weighing the consequences of staying at the scene of the accident). And for anyone ready to bitch at me for hitting YDI, stfu in advance. I know he did the right thing, and I applaud him for it because where I live everyone on the road is an asshole, I do like to hear stories about people helping other people, but since he was heading for a big exam probably wasn't the wisest thing to do since this was a very important exam. At least you can take solace in the fact that you still performed an act of generosity, and likely made that woman's day.
As wrong as it seems, by weighing out the consequences and situations, there are tons of others that would have stepped in if you hadn't, and this person would've gotten the medical help necessary, but only you can write your exam. Think about it.
actually number 39 you can kiss my ass because im going to NC state university and im a sophomore there and i have classes with 300 kids every ******* day and you know what? i still take the time to get to know my professors and i can proudly say that at my university they take the time to get to know me back even when any given professor has thousands of students they still try. i don't know what college you guys go to or went to but you need to get professors that actually care. thank you number 37 sounds to me like you go to a great school.
