Depends on the type. Ill admit i hate people who just rap to a beat, but people like Eminem are amazing, and more like pop anyway.

rap is just like he said poetry. lot of rappers and artists do Spoken Word. lot of freedom. like check out Immortal Technique. the guy is mad but his spoken word is very straight up and not full of shit that you see on music channels like that worthless piece of shit Beiber.
