I know exactly how you feel. My father got my child support completely terminated and I haven't seen him in 8-9 years. I was planning on moving out this year too and now I have nothing to live on but my crappy income I call a job haha. I hope there's some way you guys can work it out because I know I'm trying to.

Haha, you people and your whacky trust in the US legal system. :D My father has never paid child support. The first four years we tried to take it to the courts, THEY NEVER EVEN FILED OUR PAPERWORK. Once they finally DID, we were more or less told that since he doesn't have a permanent address/job, we were SOL. Interesting side note, last year we got a random $150 check for child support (a first in 14 years). My mom, sisters and I all went out to dinner on Dad's check and had a jolly good time.

We've been tracking down child support payments for years but since she doesn't have a permenant address, she lives in a post office, literally... it's pretty much impossible, not to mention it costs a heap of money to do anything about it in the legal system. don't even talk about how i've been 'sitting on my ass waiting for money to roll in'. When she has a job, which is hardly ever, she doesn't inform the government therefore does not have to pay child support. About your 'respect issues', my mother gave birth to four children that we know about, she took us all around Australia and dumped us in different states with people we didn't know. She has been married eight times and the other day, my brother got an add on facebook by a women who told us that our mother had married her brother and stolen all his money and run away, not to mention the seven other people that she did it to. My sister was also informed last year that the person she thought was her father, isn't at all. He's infact someone my mother cheated on her fifth husband with, and he's now dead. We've been trying to track down child support payments for years, last time we asked for the child support payments to be made, she showed up at our house with her 400 kilo 8th husband that tried to, literally stab us all to death. Want to say I deserved it now? Idiots. Don't comment on peoples life if you don't know the half of it. We moved 14 times in the year that I lived with her, she stole all the money my dad had and when she left she left him with a sleeping bag on a front lawn of a house that was up for sale.
