Today, the guy I liked came over for dinner with some friends. One of them asked him if we were dating, he became so distraught he started to choke on the food I had made, in his haste to tell them that in no uncertain terms, were we together. FML

This is phrased really badly. I can't tell if he was saying no or yes, because you used the phrase "in no uncertain terms" it makes it seem like he choked while saying yes you are together.

He probably did that because he does like you and wants to be protected against any rejection embarrassment. Sure it's a dick move, but so many people do this because humans are ****** and stupid always.

what number 5 said is absolutly the truth , some wise words right there

that doesn't mean he doesn't like you. when ppl like someone sometimes they will do anything they think that person wants. he prolly thought u wanted him to do that cuz he didnt think u liked him, even tho it is possible he did it bc he liked you. btw, what the **** did he come over for dinner for. guys aren't just friends with girls

I have this huge crush on a girl. and i thought she felt the same for me and I found out whenever anyone asks her about me she thinks of me as a cousin! I feel you.. :(

"In no uncertain terms" means "explicitly" and such. It means he told them for sure, quite certainly ("no un-"...get it?) It's not the same as "in no way." You probably think it doesn't matter but it completely changed the meaning of your sentence and entire post. Sorry.

Express your feelings and tell him how you feel.
