Nope

Today, the guy I liked came over for dinner with some friends. One of them asked him if we were dating, he became so distraught he started to choke on the food I had made, in his haste to tell them that in no uncertain terms, were we together. FML

This is phrased really badly. I can't tell if he was saying no or yes, because you used the phrase "in no uncertain terms" it makes it seem like he choked while saying yes you are together.

He probably did that because he does like you and wants to be protected against any rejection embarrassment. Sure it's a dick move, but so many people do this because humans are ****** and stupid always.

#60 - yes, but the funny part is that I can just picture the guy gagging because someone asked if he is hot for the OP who spends her time making pretentious sounding statements using phrases she doesn't understand.

please don't try to make yourself sound smarter by using phrases you clearly do not comprehend

maybe that guy was assulting his game. guys freak out when girls might be aware that they like them before they're ready, so if his friend made it obvious that he might want to get with you than that could have been why he freaked

awww dw, it happens to the best of us, rejection is a major bitch

Wow, lots of grammar and idiom nazis here...but they're right.

I believe that he actually REALLY likes you frenchpie. If he didn't want to be your man, he probably wouldn't have had gagged to respond so swiftly. Well, he IS your friend, he wouldn't think you were ugly at all if he wants to be so close with you. And trust me, he's probably even MORE embarrassed than YOU are for choking like that! XD And he probably wanted to say that there is nothing between you two so he won't ruin his chance to be with you. Yet, I still may be wrong.

u know he like u right? n u stupid

Attention moderators! Above is a fantastic example of when you should push the "no" button. It's not an FML, it's poorly worded, and it contains mistakes. Just say no!

this doesn't even make sense, i still don't get it, it sounds like he said you two were together, you should be happy

i get what you were trying to say even though the wording sucks and i agree that his haste in trying to deny it makes it seem like he actually does like you
