Today, a woman came into the gas station where I work, yelling because her credit card wouldn't read at the pump. I politely told her that I could set the pump up for a set amount, and she could swipe the card at the register. Her response? "You need Jesus." FML

For what it's worth, I'm an atheist. I do, however, believe it is probable based on a few non-biblical accounts that a man who was known as Jesus of Nazareth did live and spread his teachings. And if the parables the bible provides are indeed this man's teachings, he had some very nice things to say that all of us would do well to live by regardless of religion or lack thereof.

As much as this isn't your fault OP, pre-pay gas stations piss me the **** off. There's no way I would ever buy my gas at one of them unless I had to. I'd rather take my business elsewhere than deal with that bullshit.

You must live in a much nicer neighborhood than either of us. I was happy to see that the cashiers in my new area aren't hidden behind bulletproof glass, the chance of them just turning on the pump and hoping you pay them for it later is pretty much zilch.
