That has got to be one of the saddest FMLs I have read. Kids just speak their minds. Very similar thing happened when my Father died. But look back at the good times OP!
It's entirely understandable for everyone to be heartbroken after something like that. It seems like your son is really sweet though. I'm sorry for your and your son's loss, OP.
My maternal grandma died when I was 7, and while I knew she was dead, I still said my fair share if things. I blamed the devil, lol. Still, sometimes, I wish I could have gotten to know her better.
