Today, I am lying next to my new husband. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and planned on spending the entire time in bed together. We succeeded in that goal, with both of us unable to leave each other's side for entire week. Sex? No. Food poisoning? Yes. FML

Why the hell would you go all the way to Hawaii just to spend the entire time in bed together? You could have saved a lot of money and just spent the entire week in bed together at home. Then you could have gone to Hawaii when you were able to go outside and appreciate it. Kanaloa was angry with you for being stupid, and commanded the fish to give you food poisoning.

I don't really mean to sound like a jerk, but why in the hell would you go all the way to Hawaii to stay in bed the entire time? That is a gigantic waste of money and resources. You could do the same thing at a hotel down the street.

Yikes, did you go to a tourist-catering sort of place? Those are NOT places you wanna go, trust me. The good stuff is at locally owned places, far from Waikiki. They may not look as nice, but the food is so much better. And so much more like what we actually eat here.

I disagree, the funky stuff you find at really local places run by one of the 2 dozen cousins of the food inspector will give you food poisoning so much harder.OP, if your hotel did that to you, often they'll give you a partial refund for ruining the vacation you're paying them for.

That sucks so bad >< My friend went through something similar.. Her honeymoon wasn't in Hawaii and SHE was the only one to get the food poisoning... At least her husband helped her through it :] ... :/

Why would you spend money on a trip to Hawaii if all you're gonna do is have sex. Go out and see, you can have sex anywhere in the world (including at home).
