Today, while lying in bed, my boyfriend began to stroke my nose. "You can pick your girlfriend, but you can't pick your girlfriend's nose," I said playfully. In response, he shouted, "Yes, I can!" before painfully jamming his pinky up my left nostril. FML

You completely asked for it , it's all in the FML , if you find issue with what he did I ask you to reassess the situation, telling some one not do something in a playful way = it will ******* happen, and if you did say it in a dead serious tone, well... You chose him.

Well, damn 13! Calm yo ****! "You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your friends' noses," is a common joke/saying. OP's boyfriend just took it too far. Couples that are close often do/say stupid shit to each other (at least jokingly). OP probably didn't even take it as seriously as you did ;).
