Today, I discovered that my boyfriend was planning on proposing to me tomorrow. I found out after receiving a couple of a dozen texts from friends and relatives bitching me out for not telling them. Apparently, my dad thought it would be appropriate to make the announcement for me on his Facebook page. FML

Today, my dad has gone to two different relatives’ weddings in two different states this month alone. I also found out about his big birthday celebration, his BBQ and his trip to Vegas. I saw it all on Facebook. I’ve not been invited to anything, and he never visits me. I live an hour away. FML

Today, I found out my grandfather died via Facebook, because apparently both my father and my aunt think posting a status about it immediately rather than calling family is the thing to do. FML

Today, I Googled my father, who I haven't seen in 3 years. The first website link was his obituary. When I confronted my mom about it, she said, "Oh, didn't I tell you?" and walked off. FML

it's not her fault her relationship with her father isn't the greatest. i use to be really close with my dad...but now he won't even call me and gets all pissy every time i try to call him, being nice. she doesn't deserve it.

OMG mine did the same thing. I found out he was getting married when he told me to come over.. I showed up at his house and a few hours later he's like "i told you to come because im going to get married" and he got married like 5 minutes later. at his house. ??? weirdd lol i still don't understand it.
