He's either stupid or is lying. Anyway, tell them that there are DNA tests to determine (blood) relationships, so if he's willing to pay it is possible to take one of those.

There are 490,000 babies born in the world on an average day, 10,650 from the US. He must have a big family with all those brothers and sisters all separated at birth! I'm sure something like you two were born in different states or haven't wished the same grandma happy birthday would prove a point! Show your birth certificate to him, if you want to try to get back with him!

I wouldn't want to get back together with anyone that stupid. OP is better off without him. Millions of babies are born every day, and many of them are not related at all.

Today, I was talking to my friend, who was telling me he's having suicidal thoughts lately. He then said he'd be back in a few minutes. Nearly an hour passed. I panicked, thinking he'd offed himself. Several minutes after I called the emergency services, he messaged me, saying "K, back." FML
