ok seriously? i am 13 and use tampons. i actually started a little bit before i turned twelve. in the beginning i just had to use light ones and a cup? i never heard of that and tampons can be uncomfortable. if u have a light flow, u can actually feel them sometimes and its creepy.
#114: just because you can doesn't mean that everyone does - see vaginismus, for example. Cups are reusable rubber things that you insert to collect the blood, and have the advantage of containing no bleach etc., not to mention it doesn't cause as much dryness as a tampon.
i know this is so embarassing and im sorry but thats SO FUNNY! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA AHAHAHA HAH AHAHAHAHAH K sorry im done.
I find it odd that one would be able to see a pad, but not underwear, so I assume you weren't wearing underwear? If so, YDI for wearing something short enough to see your pad through your tights anyway. And to all you ignorant folks, some women/girls choose not to use tampons, and sometimes flow is too light to wear a tampon without feeling discomfort. Yes, you may prefer tampons, but others do not, so don't act as though it's something that's expected. Everyone's different...oh, wait, I guess you all think everyone must be EXACTLY like you in order to be "normal" or "cool". Well, grow up and face reality.
I suspect the shiny things were the wings of the pad, it's the only way it makes sense to me. :/
damn that sucks! next time cover it with a black cloth =P
Ha!

Women that can't use tampons, women with overly heavy flows, women who prefer them? *shrug* It takes all kinds of people to make the world go round. OP, that really sucks, I know how embarrassing stuff like that can be.
Some girls don't find tampons comfortable, give her a break. But still tights (or leggings) doesn't equal pants, a long shirt doesn't not equal a dress, being orange is not the same as being tan and for the love of God the hair bump looks hideous. Can you tell I hate "fashion"?
