Reluctant

Today, I had to fire an employee due to his staggering incompetence. The moment I said the F-word, he started fake-coughing, then loudly humming, then went to his desk and pretended not to hear anything I was saying. It took 3 of us to drag him out of the building kicking and screaming. FML

Took me longer than it should have to realize the "f" word was "fired".

This is why I don't want a management position later in life.

That happened to a guy we worked with...then he came back the next day & they physically removed him. Idiot.

I see a law suit coming you aren't allowed to physically force him out. You need to call the police.

I think that if someone is trespassing on your property, you have EVERY right to force them out. And if you don't, you should.

its a wonder that you didn't get sued . its best to have a security guard or the police remove them and not touch them your self people love to sue for the stupidest things these days so its best to play it safe.

YDI for not letting him work. You don't want others to be happy.

Please tell me you're joking.

The moment I read "F word" I thought completely different...

Working in Security, outside of a hospital position, we're never supposed to even touch another person. Emergency situations maybe.. but generally speaking we don't..EVER!! We simply call the police and let them know the person is trespassing and let them take over and handle the situation. As a manager you should've known better than to freaking drag the person out yourself because guess what, if he's smart enough (Maybe he's not), he will sue the shit out of you and you deserve it. This is two years too late so I hope everything worked out..
