Responsible

Today, I was responsible for taking care of Hoppers, the rabbit belonging to my son's third grade class. Tomorrow my son returns Hoppers so the next student can care for him. That won't be happening because Hoppers hopped out my fifth story window. FML

Lol omg!!! Go get a new one that looks just like it!!!!!

@#113... Rabbit's don't make any sounds. And they definitely don't scream for help. WTF.

We had a guinea pig named Snuggles as a class pet when I was younger. He lived a lot longer than the average guinea pig, so every time he came home with me, we were always afraid that he would die on us. I feel your pain to an extent. I hope the other children aren't mean to your son because of this.

The real issue here is that you have an open window in a 5th story apartment. Not to mention you have young children running around. Ever heard of Eric Clapton?

Maybe it didnt die, noones mention that possibility, i heard rabbits we're like cats in that they always land on their feet so the rabbit might of survived...!

Emz, I hate to be "that guy", but I seriously doubt this is a "rabbit that's used to be outside". If a domestic rabbit was outside, it was run away in an instant. Since it's a classroom pet, it's most likely kept in a cage, in the classroom. Even if it was used to be outside, it wouldn't be able to look at a window and think "Hey, that's outside. I love it out there. I'm going to go outside now"
