Sounds like he got upset because he likes you too. It sounds like a dick move but maybe he's insecure and got some irrational thoughts. Maybe talk to him. Ask him why he got so upset. Then if he does a dick move again dump him. But to me it sounds like he really likes you he just needs to be trained ( not in a bad way, some people just need some help). Good luck.
