Today, I started work as the head engineer for a big civil engineering project. I met the rest of my team, in particular the environmental engineer who I'll need to get along with the most. As it turns out, I took her virginity when we were freshmen in college. She still thinks I'm an asshole. FML

Today, wanting to impress my date, I bullshitted her about how I was an environmental scientist. She got so impressed that she invited me over to her place. Not her home, her office. So that I could give her pointers on her current project. She's a real environmental scientist. FML

I'm hoping this project is NOT excavating a giant, gaping tunnel. Planning meetings are going to be awkward when you ask her how Mother Earth is going to feel when you start pounding a big ol' hole into her.

That environmental engineer is going to be a pain. First, before you start drilling you will have to meet her friends and surprise her with unexpected deliverables. When you are finally ready, and can't wait anymore, she will find reasons like the ground is sore, there are unexpected living things on the site, or the stress tests are failing. When you do finally get going, she will be interrupting you with unwanted conversation and will want you to move your equipment into awkward configurations. When you are done she will want to continue the conversations while you just want to give your staff some needed rest. And so help you if your starting drilling another project.

Meh, that was probably like 8 years ago (engineers require quite a bit of schoolin' first). Unless you raped her, she willing slept with you. I doubt it was really all your fault. She needs to move on, imo. And if you did rape her, then shame on you. Rape is bad.
