Smoking is bad

Today, I was on my back porch having a cigarette. Not being all that awake yet, I threw the butt, still smoldering, on the ground. Did I remember that there was an ashtray right next to me? No. I did what I would do at work; I stamped it out. Barefoot. FML

you know, I don't smoke, and it's never a good thing to do, but smoking is a very addicting habit. my aunt recently died at age 49, and she made very poor lifestyle choices. when she quit the ciggys, she chewed the gum. she never got off the gum. what I am trying to say is that when you start smoking, it's nit easy to quit.

OP- You're a wuss. You stepped on a lit cigarette. Big whoop-de-do for you. It really isn't that painful, and you deserve it for being a slob. @ all those whining about nonsmokers: I don't give a **** about what you choose to do with your life. If you want to spend your own money to shorten your own life, no worry to me. But a) learn to clean up after yourself and, b) don't whine about it on the internet. The net is not a great place for sympathy for stupid decisions. Go whine to your mommy, she still loves you.

How can you possibly serious? First off, the OP is complaining because they burned their foot in their half-sleep state. Doing stupid things without thinking when you first wake up is something everybody can relate to. The only reason you're being a jackass about it is because OP's story is about a mishap involving cigarettes. If OP had woken up and been burnt by spilled coffee in a dreamy haze then you wouldn't be bitching. Whether you're too stupid to figure it out or not, you're pushing your morals on other people. Second of all, you don't post stories on this site for sympathy. Do you think "Aww, I'm sorry!" when somebody posts a story about a homeless man flinging a bag of poop at their car? No, of course not, you laugh at it. This site is supposed to make you smile, not feel bad for people. These are funny stories of average people ******* up in silly ways and that is exactly what the OP posted.

YDI for littering!! This is why I hate smokers who are slobs. Seriously don't 1) blow smoke in my vincinity and 2) throw your garbage all over the place. Other then that idc that you decide to waste your money on items that slowley kill you. Personally i'ld rather waste my money on a new video game or a new coach purse :D

When you throw your butts on the ground and stamp them out at work, do you then pick up the butt and properly dispose of it or do you treat your world like an ashtray and leave the litter on the ground?
