That's a bit of a bitch move, for sure, but while she's being a total jerk about it, at least you know she cares about your health, if not her own. Personally, I'd make her pay back the money. Generally, that's a common punishment for thieves. :P

Tell your mom to butt out, and that the promise is now up in smokes. She didn't get very tar with her setting an example. I would have been puffed off too.

She does have a point. It's a terrible excuse but makes sense.

I did the same thing with my mothers sweets when she decided to go on a diet. It was not appreciated.

That's how parents are they get you to quit but they won't quit them self.
