Today, I had to explain to a woman I didn't know that my husband was killed overseas. She replied, "I know exactly how you feel, my dog died last month." FML

Wow. I'm so sorry for your loss. I can only hope that that woman meant husband "the dog" died by accidently being tied and fallen on the train tracks as the the train came by. If not. She's not the brightess lightbulb I've heard of.
