Sorry, but…

Today, my nephew spent a long while enthusiastically telling me how amazing his new 3D TV system is. I felt his pain as his face turned white when he remembered that I'm blind in one eye since birth. FML

I guess I can half-understand what's going on. I've had Strabismus (simply, lazy eye) for 2 1/2 years now. Unfortunately, most forms of 3D, with, without, whatever... Either eventually or soon make an eye look away, ruining the 3D effect. FYL indeed, but you don't need fancy 3DTV, I don't think it'll be around for long. :3

I am blind in one eye too . I had cancer when I was a baby , and was the first person in MN to get laser treatment for it . I feel your pain , my neighbors have a 3D TV and My brother and I spend alot of time with them . Whenever were there at night , my brother and the neighbor kids try to get the glasses working for me. I always have to explain that why it doesnt work.

Aw. at least he stopped when her remembered. what a darling nephew

And 140 that's really sweet of the neighbors and your brother

How'd you see his face turn white if your blind?

I know that feel. I'm blind in one eye and my uncle took me to see Avatar in glorious 3D when it first came out. Everyone in my family agreed that the movie itself was shit and the only good thing was the 3D. Which I couldn't see at all.

Aww I feel your pain too I'm almost all the way blind in my eye 3D sucks anyway!!!

I understand what you feel. I am partially blind in my left eye from 3 or 4 years old.
