She probably knows exactly what was going on and that she was wrong, but in the heat of embarrassment tried to turn it around on you. I'm sorry OP. Just remember the importance of the life you saved
Did she not see the truck go buy where her kid was a moment before you got him? You should just explain to her what you just did and hopefully that will fix it. I'm not sure how someone could be so oblivious to what's going on around them, but then again that's why texting while driving is illegal.
Parents like this don't deserve to have phones.
More like parents like this don't deserve to have children if they can't watch them, and make sure their safe.
Who cares about the bitch? You saved a child's life... be proud :-)
Poor kid. This might not be the only time something like this happens. Glad you were there, OP. I've experienced these kind of things pretty often, where the parent is only paying their attention to their phone. While the child is trying to seek a bit of attention from them, only to be ignored by their parents, because the phone seems to be more important. I always feel pretty sad for those kids.
You have my respect.
She's too stupid to see you saved a life. And if you didn't do anything you'd still be stuck. Sucks!

What a bitch. Needs to look after her own kids.
Some people are too obsessed with their phones to even notice the real world. Good for you, you saved a life OP!
