Sorry for nothing, lady

Today, a parent was too busy texting to notice her child had run in front of a moving truck. She did however see me grab the child's backpack to yank him back out of traffic. She then screamed at me for "manhandling" her child and demanded I be fired. It's not even my school; I'm a part time sub. FML

What a bitch. Needs to look after her own kids.

Some people are too obsessed with their phones to even notice the real world. Good for you, you saved a life OP!

Why is it that the most ignorant dumb ***** out there are usually the most fertile? A successful couple end up going to get in vitro, use a surrogate or adopt and the tailer ***** has 8 kids...all conceived in the first try?

What a pathetic woman. You saved a person's life. He will now grow up. And it's all thanks to you.

Ugh. Really hope you told that bitch exactly what happened.

wonderful parenting skills, eh?

Was the mom Jamie Presley? This has whisky tango written all over it?

I think your post needs quotes around parent. This is a great example of idiot with kids not a parent. FYL you shouldn't have to deal with ridiculous people like this.

Mother: How dare you manhandle my child! I should have you fired for that blahblahblahblah... OP: No, you see lady, I just saved your child from being hit by a truck because your phone seems to have a higher priority than the saftey of your children. I should report your neglagence to authority since you made it apparent your children are not safe around you. The best part is I have video to prove this.

Slap that bitch's phone out of her hand and tell her that she could EASILY be burying her child for her stupidity if you hadn't been there just in time.

I'd have told her that her inept parenting skills nearly made her kid "road kill" & demanded that protective child services be called for "child neglect" & "child endangerment"!
