Sorry Mr Whiskers

Today, my overly-attached 14-year-old cat wanted attention while I was in a heated Skype argument with my girlfriend. Worked up from the fight, I raised my voice and said, "Not now, go away!" He ran to his little bed, had a heart attack and died. I was a complete dick to my cat in his last moments. FML

This is probably the most awful FML I've ever read. I'm sorry about your cat, OP :(

But I can't help but have enraged kitty-loving feels..

I'm so sorry for your loss. T_T *runs & cuddles my own kitties*

I would love to cuddle with my kitties but I'm in school for 6 more hours

I'm so sorry op. This is one of those fml's that actually make you want to cry. A few years ago I had a very loving dog who loved and was attached to me. I was having a bad day and he wouldn't leave me alone, so I sent him outside and not even a half an hour later he got hit by a car and passed away. It still makes me sad to this day to know I was a bitch to him before his passing, and I still blame myself. Know your cat loved you, and that you loved it too, and everything will get better and be okay soon, op.

I once spent an hour playing with my dogs in the fenced in backyard at my mom's house...when I went in, I told them "You can stay out, it's a nice night." My husband and I went to pick up dinner, came back, we all ate, and when we went to let them in, my husky/lab mix and mini schnauzer were missing. They had escaped the yard and I was mad. We found them on the train tracks an hour later. They had been hit by a passing train and were both dead. My schnauzer was in such bad shape that my dad and husband wouldn't let me see him. It's been almost three years and I've never gotten over the pain and guilt of leaving them outside that night.

Aww this makes me so sad! Now I'll be nicer to my cats when they are in my face begging for attention. You never know what could happen. I'm sorry OP.

My condolences to you and your kitty :(
