One of my 15yr old students had Tourette's last year. I suspected something a bit out of the ordinary, but not anything that serious, until I met his mother four months into the school year, who told me about it. And really... It's not something you just guess. It could have been just as insulting to act towards her as if she was disabled... if she wasn't. Her friend was insulted, but I would like to know if the Tourette girl was. Having Tourette doesn't mean you don't have a sense of humor, or can't understand someone's mistake, especially if he was feeling terrible about it aftrwards.
ouch... thats sucks, there was no way for you to know! good job for at least trying to relate accordingly to what you thought was going on. haha i nearly died laughing at all these comments
#11 get over yourself. The OP wasn't right to try and interact like that, but it wasn't out of malice. The fact that you are bragging about getting people fired for less makes you an epic douche.
@ sora wow, congrats. you flame ignorant people everyday. A WINNAR IS YOU

the friend's rude, honestly how would you automatically know the person has tourettes ?! but damn, funny x]
her friend overreacted, there was no way you could have known she had tourettes
