Sorry…

Today, I was working at Old Navy. A girl came up to me and did a bizarre dance. Not knowing how to react, I imitated her to be friendly with the customer. Then she stopped cold. Her friend stormed up to me and yelled, "You jerk! Why are you making fun of her? She has Tourette's, you know!" FML

I'm back again. #11 pisses me off so much. I've worked with kids with all sorts of disabilities and I've seen it all. That doesn't mean this dude's a bad guy because he didn't know! Die in a fire you stupid self-serving bitch!

Why would a girl dance with you at an Old Navy? It only takes a second to think.

Show it anyway

I do not like you. that is extremely rude. My friend is mentally disabled and he's probably sweeter and more polite than you will ever be.

hey dumb **** , Tourettes isn't a mental disability . get it right .

Hey dip shit tourettes is a behavioral/neurological disorder do your research before you make the human race look like shit

#11, you are a grade A first class asshole. How was she supposed to know that kid had tourettes??? Get over yourself! You think becasue you're a mother, you know everything? Grow some!

Dude, #11 is a jerk. If you KNEW she had tourettes, then YEAH that was mean and you maybe should have been fired! However, you DIDNT know, so you're in the clear! #11, what was his other options- stare at her like shes a freak, or just do nothing? If she DIDNT have tourettes, she would have been mad/sad if he just blew her off! lol. That was a really awkward situation, it's not his fault how he reacted. And in a situation like that, you dont HAVE a few seconds to sit back and think! Your immediate reaction determines how she feels about herself! Plus, her friend's stupid... she should either A) tell everybody she meets that he has tourettes, or B) explain NICELY if she does something crazy, not lash out at everybody else because they didn't know. It's not their fault.

I feel like this is something I would totally do. Try to be friendly, and accidentally end up insulting them. :/
