It's really lucky you caught her! Just think if she had put that thing in right without being caught, you never would have known! You really need to sit down and have a LONG conversation with her and your spouse. You need to figure out what is wrong and why she is doing this kind of ridiculous and inappropriate behavior. Just think, if you caught her doing this one thing she's probably gotten away with at least one other invasion of privacy or some other action.
