To be fair, on Tuesday, I went to put my flash drive into a computer and electricity jumped from the USB port to my flash drive while it was still about 2 inches away (mini bolt of lightning!) and shocked my finger, which had been resting on the metal still, so it is possible that OP could be getting shocked from her computer. Additionally, if she likes wearing Ugg boots, I don't see why everyone is critiquing her for it, just because it isn't their preference. Not everyone has to wear the same thing and have the same likes and dislikes, friends. What I positively don't understand, however, is why the OP couldn't remove her shoes, at least while in her office / cube space.
